  • When can I schedule a sick child visit?

    Same day sick visits are available. Please call our office as early in the day as able to ensure your child can be seen the same day. If your child is sick, you can call our office to schedule or book online.


    If your pediatrician does not have available appointments listed online, please call our office to schedule. Not all available appointments are released online daily.


    Online booking for sick visits is best used for acute illness. If you have several concerns or are following up on a chronic illness, please call the office to schedule your appointment to ensure we set aside adequate time.  


  • What happens during a sick child visit?

    After check in, your child's vital signs will be taken. During the visit, the doctor will review your child's symptoms and medical history. The appointment may also involve tests like a nose or throat swab, blood tests, or a urine test, in addition to a physical exam, where the doctor checks on your child. 

  • What conditions are treated during a sick visit?

    Sick visits treat many types of injuries and illnesses that need same-day or next-day medical care. Children’s symptoms can change quickly, so don’t hesitate to call if your child’s symptoms get worse. The following are some of the most common conditions treated during sick visits:

    • Upper respiratory infections
    • Earaches 
    • Headaches
    • Sore throat or strep throat
    • Congestion
    • Coughs
    • Abdominal pain
    • Asthma
    • Rashes or hives
    • Allergic reactions
    • Eye discharge or infection
